Because the dry cleaner uses special detergents that don't damage the very fibres of your suit. The treatment does not include water, water may seem innocent but it can damage the fibres in your suit, it can cause it to wrinkle and shrink. This is also why you should never put your suit in the washing machine. This is extremely crucial if you have a suit that is specifically tailored to you measurements, shrinking just a bit can cause it to lose that form and feeling. If you wear your suit often, we recommend dry cleaning it once a month.
